Rethinking an overlooked patient form into a useful communication tool and take home extension of the brand experience.

The before and after forms:

Before

The design process included user feedback, strategic analysis, iterations and testing to arrive at the final product. The entire process is summarized in this short video:

This project began with a brief that stated “The visual presentation of financial information is usually below an acceptable level. But, what is acceptable/ For whom? And how do we reach an acceptable level”.  The challenge then was to define the user of the information and then create a format for the information that was clearly understood by the viewer. In order to do this I used multiple interviews with the end users of the information to fully understand what worked for them and what their frustrations were. The end result was an easy to understand communicaton of the information that went beyond its original purpose to also become a useful take home extension of the clinics’ brand, presenting them as highly competent, original and friendly.
